LESSON DESCRIPTION: Students will be taught through hands on, project based learning that emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, communication and real world application. Instruction may include life skills, leadership development, entrepreneurship, agriculture, outdoor education, photography, media production and academic enrichment. Professional standards and methodologies may include Ak state standards, project based learning, experiential learning, career and technical education principles and student centered instruction. Materials may include age appropriate curriculum resources, educational texts, trade books, digital learning platforms, multimedia resources, agricultural and science equipment, photography and film equipment and instructor developed materials tailored to the student.
