LESSON DESCRIPTION: The workshops provide a sequential introduction to machine sewing for 4th grade age plus students. Each workshop includes five sessions. Diverse projects that can interest even experienced students are provided. In these five sessions the student will gain: five beautiful creations, sewing skills, creative perspective and artistic confidence. Instruction will be a combination of verbal instruction and demonstration, with hands on guidance. All supplies and equipment are provided. Projects include: dog toys, Christmas stocking or phone pouch, stuffie, patchwork hot pad and zippered bag.
