LESSON DESCRIPTION: Students will use gym after signing waivers of agreement along with parent permission. High school Students will have access to both gyms and all equipment on a 24/7 basis. Middle school parents must be present for supervision at all times. There is 24/7 security cameras in both gyms. No instuction will be provided by the 5th Ave staff except for basic instruction on use and safely of equipment.

Elizabeth Bradbury is a 24 year teaching veteran with 10 years of reading intervention experience. She is a remote vendor. Formative assessments will happen during daily lessons. Summative assessments will happen biweekly and all lessons will be adjusted to meet the needs of the student as data is gathered and analyzed.

LESSON DESCRIPTION: Alaska Car Shop LLC is a retail store with educational item such as remote control cars, parts, kits and models available for sale.

LESSON DESCRIPTION: Alaska Construction Training Inc. can provide orientation, heavy equipment identification and safety instuction. Basic operational techniques, understanding construction drawings, interpreting civil drawings, learning excavational math, introduction to earth moving and grades will be taught. This portion of instruction includes 40 hours of classroom /lab/and range instruction. Heavy equipment operations training will include safe operating practices, site work, finish training and grading, excavation and compaction. Equipment instruction is taught on the following pieces of equipment, off road truck, dozers, excavators, motor grader, compactor, skidsteer and loader. This portion of field training is 80 hours of instruction.

LESSON DESCRIPTION: Classroom instructor using AAA Learn to Drive program, DVD’s and power point presentation. Behind the wheel instructor will be using those same ideas and applying them to actual use in the vehicle as students’ progress through the class. The goal of the class is to instruct students into becoming safe drivers with an Alaska State Driver’s license at the end of the course.

LESSON DESCRIPTION: Two types of Rowing Classes to choose from: Indoor or On-the-Water -indoor classes on rowing machines run in 4-week sessions. On-the-Water classes in boats run mid/late May through mid/late September.
