LESSON DESCRIPTION: Early Childhood Puppet Theater for Children Ages 6 to 9 with their caregivers. Classes are typically pods of up to 3 students who gather weekly for 90 minute classes for between 4 to 8 weeks. Children learn how to collaborate with others to create, prepare and perform puppet shows. Children will use their imagination and develop storytelling ideas with language to describe feelings, people, objects and events. Puppet Theater is project based and promotes self-management, social awareness and responsible decision-making. Above all, engaging with storytelling and puppetry is fun, tangible and bonding for families. All supplies for crafting puppets are provided. Program is provided at no charge to families.
