LESSON DESCRIPTION: Alaska Construction Training Inc. can provide orientation, heavy equipment identification and safety instuction. Basic operational techniques, understanding construction drawings, interpreting civil drawings, learning excavational math, introduction to earth moving and grades will be taught. This portion of instruction includes 40 hours of classroom /lab/and range instruction. Heavy equipment operations training will include safe operating practices, site work, finish training and grading, excavation and compaction. Equipment instruction is taught on the following pieces of equipment, off road truck, dozers, excavators, motor grader, compactor, skidsteer and loader. This portion of field training is 80 hours of instruction.
