LESSON DESCRIPTION: Alegbra I and II classes are designed for homeschool students in grades 8-12 desiring a classroom setting to learn math. Students will receive one full high school APS math credit (per class). Classes are held in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from September through April/early May; Algebra I from 12:15-2:15pm and Algebra II from 9:30-11:30am. Cost is $1,350 ($675 per semester). Saxon curriculum used in both Algebra I and II classes (full book covered)... courses follow state standards. Teacher is Alaska Certified, homeschool parent, former public school teacher who minored in mathematics in college. Syllabus available upon request.
