LESSON DESCRIPTION: Skills taught will vary depending upon age and group, ranging from 6 yrs to 18 yrs. Player knowledge:Rules, common infractions, penalties, puck pursuit, puck support, acceptable on-ice conduct, and allowable contact with opponets. Hockey skills:Skating, puck control, passing and recieving, shooting, body contact, and goaltending. Team concepts: puck pursuit, puck support, offensive concepts, and defensive concepts. Physical development: Speed, stamina and strength.
