LESSON DESCRIPTION: Specific skills will vary depending on the student, however, all students will learn problem solving, critical thinking and how to be an independent learner. I use a standards-based approach as opposed to following a textbook. Materials will also vary depending on the situation but may include both online and offline methods as well as hands-on learning where appropraite. What comes along with 21 years in the classroom is a multitude of professional development which has improved my teaching and given me new strategies to help all learners at all levels.
