LESSON DESCRIPTION: Classic and Skate skiing will be taught. The methodology of Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA-AASI) will be used. The instructor is the co-author of "Nordic Technical Manuel" and a contributor to the manual "Teaching Children Snowsports." Many props are used for the lessons. Families will provide boots, skis and poles for the students. Assessments of mastery will be made based on observations of glides, push-offs, weight trasfers, diagonal stride and herringbone.
