LESSON DESCRIPTION: Skills to be taught: Latin (Classical or Ecclesiatical based on student/parent choice). Students will begin by reading simple sentences in a story format, the course works into harder gramatical structures and varying vocabulary. Students will learn to read, proounce, speak and eventually form their own sentences in Latin.The aim of the course is to prepare students for eventual fluency and effortless reading in Latin. Older children will gain exposure to seminal works of Latin thinkers and writers. The curriculum used will be Lingua Latina with supplemental material provided by tutor.
