Program Information

This program will provide parents with resources, ideas, and skills necessary to create a successful preschool experience at home.

Over the 2022-2023 school year, parents and their preschool student will participate in 4 workshops with our program. Each session will focus on skills that promote Kindergarten readiness.

In addition to these sessions, families will have 1 year use of a tablet with educational apps, the book How to Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons, and much more!

Our advisors will provide you with support and resources you can use at home.

Applications are available on the Connections website, www.chkpen.org and the Connections Homeschool Facebook page.

Application deadline is August 15th.

Families will be notified by September 9th.

How can I participate in this program?

Families interested in this opportunity will need to complete the application and submit to your local Connections office by August 15, 2022. You can also complete the application on this Google Forms.

Students need to be 4 years old by September 1, 2022 and NOT enrolled in any other Pre-K programs (private or KPBSD).

Preference for this program will be given to families new to the Connections program.

Students must be full-time residents of the Kenai Peninsula and able to participate in all four of our workshops.
