On Thursday, January 27th the Connections Homeschool program will be holding a Snowshoe Hike at the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
This will be in place of our regular Open Gym time this week.
This activity will be about an hour hike with Ranger Michelle around the refuge.
Students need to be dressed appropriately, please see flyer below for WHAT TO WEAR.
This activity will be completely outdoors as the Education Center is still closed to the public. It is advised to use the restroom prior to your arrival but the Education Center has a bathroom that can be used one at a time for masked individual.
Families must RSVP for each participant to ensure the correct size and number of snowshoes are available. Limited sizes are available. Sorry, but there are no snowshoes for toddlers. You are welcome to use your own snowshoes if you have them. Please RSVP here for your participants.
Please arrive on time at 1:15pm so that you can get your snowshoes on and be ready to begin the hike with Ranger Michelle!
